We organize projects to create a strong and more inclusive community
Little Yellow Free Pantry
The Little Yellow Free Pantry has been serving visitors since March 6, 2021. Donations of funds to buy food, or donations of unexpired, unopened food, and toiletries are always accepted.
Project Warmth
Everyone deserves to be WARM. Project Warmth happens every year in front of the Big Yellow House. Coats of all sizes (in good condition) and other winter apparel are displayed with signage letting passersby know that the warm items are free for the taking.
Santa Proejct
Every year we set up a station for children aged 12 and younger to write letters to Santa. With the help of KA elves, these children receive letters and gifts from the North Pole.
Fancy Outfit Library
If you need a fancy outfit to attend a fancy event, check out the Fancy Outfit Library! It is stocked with a variety of styles and sizes — you might find the perfect attire to borrow, clean, and return. Save the planet and save your bank account!
Annual Kindness Sale
This annual event that gets the WHOLE COMMUNITY humming! Donations of good condition, saleable items are accepted a month before the sale. Nothing has a set price – the Kindness Yard Sale is “Pay What You Wish”, with the understanding that all money raised is used to SPREAD KINDNESS! You never know what treasures you might find!
