Pop Up Projects

Pop Up Projects

Not all acts of kindness are big, expensive or fancy. Here are few pop up projects we organize!

Springtime Eggs

Every year, KA volunteers decorate hundreds of eggs filled with treats for children in the community. They hang from the fence at the Big Yellow House. We love this project because it gives the community a chance to mingle, and welcome the warm Spring air. This has been a tradition for a long time!

Popsicle giveaways

When the sun beats down and the temperature rises everyone deserves to stay cool! We pick hot days to give out popsicles to the community.

Polish-A-Palooza

If you like your nail polish BRIGHT and prefer enthusiasm over accuracy, then Polish-A-Palooza is for you! This event features kind KIDS armed with lots of nail polish. Customers come to get their fingernails painted and leave with big smiles on their faces. And our nail techs? Well, they finish the day full of pride at doing a great job.

Cocoa, coffee and tea giveaway

Sometimes kindness comes in a steaming cup of coffee or cocoa. That’s why on cold days Kindness Activist sometimes hosts pop-up hot drink giveaways. Because really – who doesn’t love a steaming hot beverage in the middle of winter?

Table Lending Library

Are you having a party and need extra tables? We have 6 foot fold-down plastic tables that we loan out free of charge to the community.
