In honor of the 5th birthday, we would love to add some new art to the rotation.  Feeling creative?  Then join in on the fun!  Here is how it will work:

– Entrants will create a piece of art on white posterboard that is the shape required to fit the pantry.  Posterboard pieces will be available for pick up at our home in South Arlington, Virginia or can be mailed if the artist is outside the metro DC area.

– Entries can be made with paint or pastel crayons.  

– All entries should include the words Little Yellow Free Pantry (printed, not cursive)

– Other than those words, it is artist choice on colors, decoration, style, etc.

– Categories:  ages 1 – 10, ages 11 – 18, and over 18

– Photos of entries will be posted here and readers will vote for the winning pieces

– Artists whose entries are chosen must then recreate the work on a piece of wood that is the same size as their original piece.  Wood may be picked up at our home in South Arlington, VA, and if the winning artist is outside the DC metro, the wood can be mailed.

– The winning pieces will be displayed in rotation on the LYFP.
